“Remember now Delia that everything is in your suitcase, and do try and behave. The people willing to take you are very kind for doing so. So do try and show them some respect will you?”. Delia ignored annoying Amy, the social worker she was assigned. She always questioned as to why the foster care system was so messed up to employ such a person. “ Yes''. Delia replied hissing through her teeth. Yes, …...what Delia, remember what I taught you”. Her piercing snake eyes stared at Delia, through the rearview mirror, while her pouty lips thinned out, waiting for a response. “Yes Miss Amy '', said Delia, grinding her teeth together. “ Look at me when talking Delia, it’s highly rude”. Delia rolled her eyes and looked back out the window. Now that she had a more clear view, she could see the forest, the thick layer of fog sitting atop the croaked coal coloured trees, looked like an unfinished cake, the trees made a chocolate flavoured base while the condensed clouds resembled sweet icing. It made her feel hungry and was glad to see that they had arrived in the driveway of the Millers.
